Following immigration requirements and clearance at the Kenya/Tanzania border, you will exchange your car. A member of our Tanzania staff will come pick you up and transport you to your Serengeti resort.

To enter Tanzania, please make sure you have a valid visa, as the processing of your application may take a long time. Even though it takes a while, the driving is breathtaking. For those who are witnessing it for the first time, this will be an amazing moment. You will understand why the name means “endless plains” in the local language as you venture farther into the Serengeti. Along with 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and a variety of antelopes, it is the home of the Great Migration.

While searching for large cats that are hunting for their morning meal, wonder at how the sun sets on the savannah. You will encounter some of the most famous animals in the world as you wind between kopjes where lions sunbathe, set against the vast grasslands and expansive sky of Tanzania’s crown gem. You will spend the night and dinner in the Serengeti.

Your opinions are entirely respected, and this day will be planned by your desires. Your guide will go through the ideal times for you to go on game drives and wake-up calls each day of the safari. For instance, you could go on a game drive in the morning, have lunch and unwind at the camp, and then go on another game drive in the afternoon. An alternative would be to go on a picnic lunch and game drive for the entire day.
