Tour Plan

1

Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya drive to Lake Nukuru National Park

After landing in Nairobi, the guide will receive and greet you at the airport or Nairobi hotel on the first day of your traditional safari. After briefing you on the details of the entire safari, you will drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, which takes about three to four hours by car. You will travel across the Great Rift Valley Escarpment and pause to take pictures and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. You'll arrive in time to enjoy lunch and check-in. You can take a nap or get ready before going on an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. Along with over 350 other bird species, it is home to migratory flamingos. For the critically endangered black and white rhino species, the park serves as a sanctuary.

2

Drive from Lake Nukuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

Have breakfast early in the morning. Following breakfast, we will check out and depart for Masai Mara, a five-hour journey from Lake Nakuru. Driving around Lake Nakuru National Park on a game drive will be enjoyable. We will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and check-in. After a full day of relaxation and taking advantage of the lodge's amenities, go out in the late afternoon for an exciting first-game drive in the breathtaking Masai Mara.

In addition to an amazing variety of large and small animals, the Masai Mara National Reserve is home to friendly locals and breathtaking landscapes. The magnificent Great Wildebeest Migration is well-known in the reserve. From July through October, the Reserve greets more than 1.5 million wildebeests on its vast savannahs.

3

Full Day Game Drive at Masai Mara

After an early breakfast, head out from the hotel with your lunch packed so you can spend the entire day watching wildlife as it moves across the lush, hilly grasslands covered with trees. Our guide will choose an excellent (and safer) location for you to eat lunch at noon. Hear the Mara River's tremendous rush across the savannah, providing life to the park, and hear animals roaring and birds tweeting. After that, in the evening, you will head back to Zebra Plains for a scheduled bush nature walk in a wildlife conservation area with a knowledgeable and expert guide. We will return to your lodge after taking in even more of this never-ending sight.

4

Enjoy the game drive from Masai Mara to Serengeti

Today we will check out from the resort, prepare a picnic lunchbox, and head out for a last-game drive toward the Isebania border. Following immigration requirements and clearance at the Kenya/Tanzania border, you will exchange your car. A member of our Tanzania staff will come pick up you and transport you to your Serengeti resort.

To enter Tanzania, please make sure you have a valid visa, as the processing of your application may take a long time. Even though it takes a while, the driving is breathtaking. For those who are witnessing it for the first time, this will be an amazing moment. You will understand why the name means "endless plains" in the local language as you venture farther into the Serengeti. Along with 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and a variety of antelopes, it is the home of the Great Migration.

We will be stopping along the way for a wildlife drive. Enjoy dinner and your overnight stay after checking into your lodge.

5

Full Day Game drive at Serengeti National Park

Get up early for a wonderful game drive at sunrise. We will spend the full day exploring the Big Five and other animals on the plains of the Serengeti after breakfast. While searching for large cats that are hunting for their morning meal, wonder at how the sun sets on the savannah. You will encounter some of the most famous animals in the world as you wind between kopjes where lions sunbathe, set against the vast grasslands and expansive sky of Tanzania's crown gem. You will spend the night and dinner in the Serengeti.

Your opinions are entirely respected, and this day will be planned by your desires. Your guide will go through the ideal times for you to go on game drives and wake-up calls each day of the safari. For instance, you could go on a game drive in the morning, have lunch and unwind at the camp, and then go on another game drive in the afternoon. An alternative would be to go on a picnic lunch and game drive for the entire day.

6

Drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Early in the morning, we will depart from the hotel and travel through the stunning, high-lying farmlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area on our way to the crater. Bring a picnic lunch and set off for a full day of exploration inside the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater.

Encircled by extremely steep walls that rise 610 meters from the floor, Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact caldera in the world. It is regarded as one of the Wonders of the Natural World and a true wildlife paradise. You will encounter the Big Five (the lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard), zebras, hyenas, wildebeest, and so on.  We will ascend 610 meters in the late afternoon and make our way to your Ngorongoro lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

7

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha for final departure:

After eating a satisfying breakfast, we will check out. We will spend an hour at the Mto Wa Mbu village, which provides visitors with an extremely unique experience! The community is home to about 120 different ethnic groups; it's a cross-cultural melting pot with what's likely Tanzania's most unusual collection of languages and customs. Spending time in this community will provide a much-needed break from your safari activities, as it is located in the center of Tanzania's Northern Safari Circuit.

Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara are both extremely near to Mto Wa Mbu Village in the Great Rift Valley. The town lies on the main road that connects the Ngorongoro Crater and Conservation Area and the Serengeti National Park, amidst breathtaking scenery
