Chitwan Jungle Safari is a private tour package we have been organising for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers in Nepal. With a personal tour guide and vehicle, a custom schedule, and the freedom to select activities and lodging, this tour provides a personalized experience. Because private safaris allow for more flexible and customized itineraries and wildlife viewing drives. They increase the likelihood of spotting the Bengal tiger and other wild animals.

On a private safari, you frequently have your own vehicle and driver. It gives you the freedom to pause whenever you want. And spend as much time as you like at each location. Your driver can provide you with additional in-depth local knowledge to enhance your overall experience. Furthermore, there are fewer people on the private safari, so the guide may dedicate more time to you. You will be able to enjoy a calm and serene nature safari because there won’t be as many people around.

Chitwan National Park is a popular tourist destination due to its natural beauty, and wildlife and its close location to Kathmandu. Established in 1973, Chitwan National Park is Nepal’s first national park in the lowlands of southern central Nepal. The park is one of Asia’s top national parks for wildlife watching. So, spend some days spotting all the wildlife Chitwan offers and making the most of your wildlife viewing adventure in Chitwan. We will be taken on a variety of excursions over the next few days. We will find out about the fascinating flora and fauna of this national park and its untamed Terai terrain.

This jungle safari is a wonderful wildlife experience in the wilderness of Chitwan to witness animals and various bird species and more. The park is a haven for the Bengal tiger and the One-horned Asiatic rhinoceros, two threatened species. It is also home to other wildlife like Asian Elephants, Leopards, Deer, Black Buck, Rhesus monkeys, and various bird species.

Tour Plan

1

Arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our office representative will warmly greet you at the airport and ensure your smooth transfer to your centrally located hotel in Thamel. If you arrive earlier, you'll have the opportunity to embark on a brief tour, exploring UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Swyambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and more, immersing yourself in the rich cultural heritage of the city.

2

Fly to Bharatpur, drive to hotel & Private Jeep Safari

This morning, we will take a 25-minute morning flight to Bharatpur, and then drive about 2 hours to the Temple Tiger Green Jungle Resort for our stays during this trip. Upon arrival at the resort, enjoy a refreshing drink while getting an explanation of the activities you will be participating in. Then, after having a delicious lunch we will go for a half-day jeep safari inside the community forest. During the safari, we have a chance to spot some of the major animals and birds in the park.

In the evening, we will enjoy a dinner with a cultural dance performance by ethnic Tharu people at the resort.

3

Full day Private Jeep Safari inside National Park

The best times to experience a Jeep Safari are in the early morning and late afternoon when the majority of wildlife is most active. The best opportunity to see tigers and rhinoceroses coming out to drink water is typically during an early-morning Jeep safari. The safari in the late afternoon provides an opportunity to see the stunning sunset over the jungle. As a result, we will plan an early morning jeep safari to spend some time in the park exploring during these times of less light.

On this day, you won't need to go back to the hotel for lunch because a delicious packed lunch will be provided.  We can spend the entire day tracking tigers and other wildlife since it saves us time. Enjoy the meal while taking a rest in a secure location chosen by the naturalist.

4

Canoe ride with Jungle walk, inside the National Park

We will paddle down on a traditional wooden canoe this morning for about 2 hours at the Rapti River with the sound of the water flowing, while birds chirp creating a relaxing melody. Canoe rides along the Rapti River offer unique perspectives on the park and its wildlife, including the chance to see rhinoceros, the Marsh Mugger and fish-eating Gharial crocodiles, and other bird species flying above the river that adds the excitement.

Then we will be engaged in a nature walk in the direction of the dense jungle's tiger-spotting hotspots in search of the Royal Bengal Tiger along with other animals and birds. It's one of the best ways to experience nature and the wildlife in its purest.  The nature walk is quieter than the jeep safari and offers a great chance to see animals so close.  A packed lunch will be served today as well.

In the evening, we will watch the sunset from the bank of the Rapti River when the golden rays of the sun touch the calm flowing water and catch a wonderful glimpse of flying birds and canoe rides returning to their home. We can spot some animals at the end of the day as well when they come down to the riverbank to drink water.

5

Morning Bird watching, Village walk, afternoon back to Kathmandu

To see many of the unique birds, we will take an early-morning stroll in the forest and along the Rapti River. With almost 500 different species of birds, Chitwan is a birdwatcher's dream. Chitwan is one of the best bird-watching spots in the world and studies the rare species of resident and migratory birds. Bird watching at Chitwan offers a chance to spot a wide range of attractive and extremely photogenic birds with side-by-side wildlife and nature. The world of birds is also extremely fascinating. The birds come in a variety of shapes and sizes in addition to their different shades of color. The hornbill, egret, paradise flycatcher, and kingfisher are a few examples of colorful and unusual birds to look out for.

In the afternoon, we will drive to Bharatpur and fly back to Kathmandu.

6

Day 06: Final Departure

Today, you will depart Nepal with everlasting beautiful memories and experiences. Our representative will meet you at your hotel and will drop you at the airport according to your flight schedule to bid farewell. It is good to be at the airport at least 2 hours before your departure to complete the airport check-in on time.
