Tiger Encounter in Chitwan National Park is a wildlife activity that requires lots of patience and immense enthusiasm. To observe this amazing animal that resides at the top of the wildlife food chain. The park is a thrilling experience for all of us.

The Tiger Conservation Unit, Chitwan-Parsa-Valmiki, comprises two national parks in Nepal; and one in India, with a total area of 3549 km2. This area consists of large patches of alluvial grasslands and dense sub-tropical forests suitable for tigers.

Chitwan National Park is designated as a UNESCO natural heritage site. Evidently, the park alone houses 128 Royal Bengal Tigers according to a national survey in 2022. For the same reason, it is the largest playground for tigers in Nepal. So, it is the perfect destination after Bardia National Park for tiger tracking in Nepal.

The best time to visit the park is from September to November and March to April. For encountering tigers along with other wildlife. During this time, the jungle is less dense making the clear visibility of the surrounding areas. The wildlife roaming freely in the wild is visible.

Tiger Encounter in Chitwan National Park offers you the experience of observing the Royal Bengal Tigers engaging in natural behavior in their natural habitat. What’s more, you will be contributing to wildlife conservation and buffer zone communities while experiencing wildlife intimately. All you need to do is wear your sun hat, strap in your binoculars and patiently follow the nature guide’s instructions. Furthermore, the park’s lush grasslands, forests in its peak canopy, and wetlands will reveal the tree hugger in you.
